This Girl Can is a national campaign funded by The National Lottery which celebrates women being active no matter how they do it. The campaign aims to inspire women of all “shapes, sizes, abilities, and backgrounds to get active”. There is no right or wrong way to get active as long as you are positively impacting your life.

Solent Students' Union's This Girl Can Week will run from Monday 27th of March - Sunday 2nd March. We will be celebrating women in sport and inspiring all students to try something new or get back into a sport through a week of beginner friendly activities.

What's on during the week:

During the week, we will be hosting loads of events for women to get involved in as part of This Girl Can. We have been working closely with Solent Sport, so check out the below! All sessions are free and open to all abilities, so if you're interested in trying something new, this is for you!

These events are aimed at self-identifying women and celebrating them in sport. Any sexist behaviour will not be tolerated. If you have any questions or ideas for events, please email student.involvement@solent.ac.uk.
