Solent Elections 2024

This is your chance to apply to be and elect your Sabbatical Officers and Part-Time Officers for the 2024-25 academic year. Sabbatical Officers are three students who take a year out of their studies to work full time in the Students’ Union representing you at Solent University and in the wider community. Part-Time Officers will be your voice at Solent University on issues from equality, support and mental health to accommodation, nightlife and societies at both a local and national level.

Responsible for ensuring every student has a voice at Solent University. They look after representation and democracy (e.g. Student Council, Student Reps, etc.) within the Students’ Union and provide political leadership to the organisation.

Responsible for being the voice of every student at Solent University on all welfare matters and act as a liaison between students and the local community. They are also responsible for being the voice of every student at Solent University on all extra curriculum activities and employability matters. They work closely with and support clubs, societies and student media at Solent University,.
