If Every Student..
a Union awareness campaign
Solent Students' Union is committed to students, and all money you spend in our Shop, Cafe and Bars is put directly back into improving our services for you. This is the essense of our 'Recycling Your Money' campaign, which you may have seen around.
You may also have seen our new 'If Every Student' advertising that has gone across campus. We have taken just a handful of very commonly-purchased items from our Student Shop and worked out what we could offer all students if these items were regularly bought.
The aim of 'If Every Student' is to reassure students that their participation, involvement and support of the students' union enables it to give back what they have put into it.
For example, if every student bought a Mars Bar each week (or item of equal value) we could afford to hire a big name band such as the Foo Fighters for the Summer Ball.
If all students bought something as little as a drumstick lolly (5p!) every week, we could provide a free night bus to run between halls, the Students' Union, and the Polygon to ensure our students get home safely at night.
